Today is the anniversary of the Orlando shooting that killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub last year. Today is also my birthday, and for my birthday I want anyone reading this to take a second for those 49 people and every LGBTQ+ person lost to bigotry, hate and discrimination. I want you to think about how you personally can make a safer, more accepting world for this community in what you say and what you do. Every day.
